You can use your private MitID, for example, stored in the MitID app, when you need to log in or sign digitally on behalf of your organisation. This requires that both you and your organisation agree to the use of private MitID in MitID Erhverv.
If you own a business or are authorised to represent your organisation solely, you may be able to use your private MitID without entering into a connection agreement with MitID Erhverv.
It is possible, if you:
If you prefer not to use private MitID to act digitally on behalf of your business or organisation, you can instead use a separate MitID. A separate MitID is a new MitID that you will receive, and it can only be used only when acting on behalf of your business or organisation.
To be created as a user in MitID Erhverv, you must initially log in with your private MitID to verify your identity.
If you do not have a CPR (Civil registration) number and need MitID Erhverv, read:
Create foreign employees as users in MitID Erhverv
If you work in a company or public institution that uses Local IdP, your organisation is responsible for identity verification. Contact the user adminis-trator in your organisation. If you do not know who your organisation’s user administrator is, contact MitID Erhverv Support to obtain their name.
You can only have one MitID app on a single phone. However, you can have multiple MitIDs within the same MitID app.
If you have a separate MitID, which you use solely to act on behalf of your organisation, you have the option to add it in the MitID app on your private phone, alongside your private MitID.
Please note If you have multiple MitIDs in the same app, you will no longer use biometrics (fingerprint or facial recognition). Instead, you will need to use your PIN code.
When using your private MitID, you use the same MitID (user ID and authenticator, such as the MitID app) for both personal logins and when acting on behalf of your organisation.
When using a separate MitID, you have one MitID for personal use and a separate MitID for business use. With a separate MitID, you will have a different user ID that you must enter when logging into a self-service on behalf of your organisation.
Your private data and your organisation’s data are always kept separate, regardless of the solution you choose.
