You do not have access to the self-services that you require

Learn what to do if you discover that you do not have access to self-services on behalf of your organisation, such as SKAT, NemRefusion, or Digital Post.

This page is relevant for:

  • all users in MitID Erhverv.

You do not have access to the self-service you need in order to perform specific tasks on behalf of your organisation. For example, you do not have access to:

  • report VAT at skat.dk
  • claim reimbursement in NemRefusion
  • access your organisation’s Digital Post.

If you do not have access to a self-service that you need to perform tasks on behalf of your organisation, it means you do not have the correct rights in MitID Erhverv or in the relevant self-services.

In MitID Erhverv, you can gain access to many of the self-services, but you will not be able to obtain access to the following through MitID Erhverv:

  • your organisation’s Digital Post
  • reporting at skat.dk.

How to gain access to self-services in MitID Erhverv

To gain access to most self-services, you should generally contact the rights administrator in your organisation.

If you do not know who the rights administrator in your organisation is, contact MitID Erhverv support to obtain the name of the administrator.

You can also choose to request rights in MitID Erhverv. Your rights administrator will receive a notification indicating that you require the rights. Note that some organisations do not use this function. It is advisable to check internally before requesting rights in MitID Erhverv.

How to request rights in MitID Erhverv

Once logged in, your profile will appear.

The "Rights" menu is located under the "Authenticators" menu.

Above the "Groups of rights," heading you will find the "Request rights” button. You can also view any existing rights assigned to you in MitID Erhverv.

The "Add rights" window opens.

To find rights you would like to request, begin by finding the categories they belong to. You can do this in 2 ways:

  • Enter keywords in the search field under "Search for rights".
  • Browse categories listed below the search field.

Once you find the appropriate category, tap it to expand and tick the box next to the rights you want to request.

  • After selecting all the rights you need, tap the "Next" button.

The "Motivation (optional)" window opens.

You can choose to provide motivation for applying the right(s). This will be visible to the organisation's rights administrator and user administrator, who must approve your request.

After adding a motivation, tap the "Next" button.
If you choose not to provide a motivation, simply tap the "Next" button.

The "Summary" window will open.

In the “Summary” window, review the rights you have selected. Check if all the rights are listed.

If you provided a motivation, it will also appear here.

Tap the "Submit" button when you are ready.

After submission, you will be returned to your profile, and the message "Application for rights submitted" will appear. The rights administrator in your organisation will receive a notification in MitID Erhverv.

The rights administrator will cntact you once your request has been processed.

How to gain access to your organisation’s Digital Post

If you do not have access to your organisation’s Digital Post, you must request access to your organisation’s rights administrator for Digital Post. Follow this guide:

How to gain access to TastSelv on skat.dk

If you need access to TastSelv on skat.dk on behalf of your organisation, you must contact your organisation’s TastSelv Erhverv administrator.

If you are not yet a user in MitID Erhverv

If you are not yet a user in MitID Erhverv, you must first be created and activated as a user in MitID Erhverv to gain access or the rights to perform a task in a self-service. To become a user, you must either:

  • request to become a user in MitID Erhverv
  • contact your user administrator.

Once you have become a user in MitID Erhverv, you must contact your rights administrator. The administrator can assign you access to self-services.

If you do not know who the administrator in your organisation is, contact MitID Erhverv support to obtain the administrator’s name.
