In MitID Erhverv, there are 3 different types of administrators. Learn what each type of administrator can assist you with as a user.

Roles

User administrator

A user administrator is the type of administrator with whom you, as a user, in MitID Erhverv will most often interact.
You should contact the user administrator if you:

  • want to be set up as a user in MitID Erhverv
  • do not have an activation code when trying to activate yourself as a user in MitID Erhverv
  • have new colleagues who also need to act digitally on behalf of your organisation and require to be set up as users in MitID Erhverv
  • need to notify that your colleagues should be deactivated or deleted due to resignation, parental leave or other extended leave
  • need an organisation certificate or user certificate
  • no longer have the old phone with the MitID app stored on it when you get a new phone and new phone number.

If you do not have access to or the necessary rights for a self-service in which you need to perform tasks on behalf of your organisation, it is the responsibility of the rights administrator. However, you can also contact your user administrator for assistance.

How to find out who the user administrator is in your organisation

If you have previously received an email from MitID Erhverv, such as one regarding activation, you can find the user administrator's name at the end of the email.

If you do no longer have emails from MitID Erhverv and do not know who your user administrator is, you can contact MitID Erhverv Support to obtain the administrator's name.

How many user administrators are there in my organisation?

Your organisation will have at least 1 user administrator. If your organisation employs many people, there may be several user administrators.

A user administrator can hold multiple roles; for example, a user administrator may also be a rights administrator.

Rights administrator

A rights administrator can primarily assist you when you need access to or the right to performing a specific task in a self-service.

You should contact the rights administrator if you:

  • need access to or the right to perform a specific task in a self-service on behalf of your organisation
  • have questions about certificate settings, such as system rights or seal generation
  • need to act on behalf of an organisation for which your organisation has received a business power of attorney to carry out tasks.

How many rights administrators are there in my organisation?

Your organisation will have at least 1 rights administrator. If your organisation has many employees, there may be several rights administrators.

How to find out who the rights administrator is in your organisation

If you do not know who your rights administrator is, you can contact MitID Erhverv Support to obtain the administrator's name:

A rights administrator can hold multiple roles; for example, a rights administrator may also be a user administrator.

Organisation administrator

An organisation administrator can help you if you:

  • need one of the 3 administrator roles
  • requre the role of trusted employee (applies only to municipalities).

How many organisation administrators are there in my organisation?

Your organisation will have at least 1 organisation administrator, but it is possible for the organisation to have several organisation administrators at the same time.

An organisation administrator can hold multiple roles; for instance, your organisation administrator may also be a rights and user administrator.
