Request to become a user in MitID Erhverv

Learn how to request to become a user in MitID Erhverv.

This page is relevant for:

  • All persons who have not yet been created as a user in MitID Erhverv.

Please notet hat you only can request to become a user in MitID Erhverv, if:

  • your organisation already uses MitID Erhverv, i.e., it has entered in-to the connection agreement with MitID Erhverv
  • your organisation administrator in MitID Erhverv has allowed employees in your organisation can request to become a user.

You will get an error message, if:

  • your organisation has not enabled that employees in your organisa-tion can request to become a user
  • you proceed with the request procedure below, even though your organisation does not allow such requests.

If your organisation has not enabled employees to request to become a user, you must contact user administrator within your organisation. If you do not know who your user administrator is, please contact MitID Erhverv to obtain their name.

Reqest to become a user

If your organisation has allowed employees to request to become a user, your organisation will appear in the search results.

Tap “Next”.

You will be promopted to log in with your private MitID to verify your identity with MitID Erhverv.

Enter your email address.

You may also enter your phone number and add a reason for your request to become a user. Both fields are optional.

Tap “Next.” to proceed.

In MitID Erhverv you have the option to use your private MitID when acting on behalf of your organisation.  Your private MitID is a MitID, you already use, for example to log in to your online banking.

If you do not intend to use your private MitID, you can get a separate MitID, which you can use only when acting on behalf of your organisation.

You must choose with “Yes” or No” to use your private MitID.

Tap “Next” to proceed.

The “Check your information” window will open.

A summary of your choices during this request procedure will be displayed. If the information is correct, tap "Submit request".

The “Confirmation” page will open, and a “Request sent” message will appear.

If you are already a user in MitID Erhverv, an error message will notify you of this.

Once your user administrator approves your request, you will receive an activation mail. Please follow the instructions to activate yourself as a user in MitID Erhverv.

If your user administrator rejects your request, you will receive an e-mail explaining the reason for the rejection.
