Our administrators have left the organisation

Learn what your organisation must do if an administrator has left the organisation. This also applies when an administrator is on parental leave or extended leave.

You have discovered that your administrator has left the organisation. The following also applies when the administrator is on parental leave or extended leave.

What to do if a user administrator or rights administrator left the organisation?

An organisation administrator must appoint a new user to be a user administrator or rights administrator if:

  • the organisation only had one user administrator or rights administrator
  • the administrator has left the organisation.

If you are unsure who the organisation administrator is within your organisation, contact MitID Erhverv Support to obtain the name of the organisation administrator.

Please note that there may be several user administrators or rights administrators in the organisation at the same time.

What to do if the organisation administrator has left the organisation?

If the organisation administrator has left in the organisation, you should first check whether there are other organisation administrators in place.

If you are unsure whether there are additional organisation administrators, contact MitID Erhverv Support to obtain the names of organisation administrators.

If none of your current employees are organisation administrators, your organisation’s management representative will need to initiate the process of entering into a connection agreement with MitID Erhverv again. During this process, the management representative can appoint a new organisation administrator.

The management representative in the organisation is typically a director, board member, or association representative. You can find out who the management representative is in your organisation:

We recommend that an organisation have more than one organisation administrator to avoid being locked out of MitID Erhverv in case an organisation administrator leaves or is on parental leave. If you are an organisation administrator, you can find guidance on how to appoint a new administrator:
