About this guide

This guide explains, step by step, how your organisation can start using the powers of attorney it has received. It requires you to add users to the business power of attorney.

"This means that only users included in the power of attorney are authorised to act digitally on behalf of the organisation or individual granting it.

What you’ll need before you begin

Before you begin, you will need:

  • MitID Erhverv
  • The role of rights administrator
  • The name(s) of the users to be added to the power of attorney. Please note that any users you add must be activated as users in MitID Erhverv.

How to add users to the powers of attorney received by your organisation

The powers of attorney your organisation has received can be found under “Delegations received".

Tap the power of attorney to which you would like to add users.

The “Received delegation” menu will appear.

The menu will expand.

You can do this by:

  • using the search field
  • finding them in the list.

Tick the box next to the users you would like to add to the power of attorney.

Once you have selected all users you would like to add, select “Add user”.

If you cannot find the users you wish to add, it may be because they have not yet been activated as users in MitID Erhverv. In that case, please contact a user administrator within your organisation to have them created.

The user or users have now been added to the power of attorney.

This means that the added users can now act digitally on behalf of the organisation or the individual that granted the power of attorney to your organisation.
