About this guide

This guide explains, step by step, how your organisation can start using the business powers of attorney it has received. It requires you to add employees to the business power of attorney.

This means that only the employees who have been added to the business power of attorney can act digitally on behalf of the organisation that granted the business power of attorney.

What you’ll need before you begin

Before you begin, you will need:

  • MitID Erhverv
  • The role of rights administrator
  • The name(s) of the employees to be added to the business power of attorney. Please note that any employees you add must be activated as users in MitID Erhverv.

How to add employees to the business powers of attorney received by your organisation

The business powers of attorney your organisation has received can be found under “Delegations received".

Tap the business power of attorney to which you would like to add employees.

The “Received delegation” menu will appear.

The menu will expand.

You can do this by:

  • using the search field
  • finding them in the list.

Tick the box next to the employees you would like to add to the business power of attorney.

Once you have selected all employees, select “Add user”.

If you cannot find the employees you wish to add, it may be because they have not yet been activated as users in MitID Erhverv. In that case, please contact a user administrator within your organisation to have them created.

The employee or employees have now been added to the business power of attorney.

This means that the added employees can now act digitally on behalf of the organisation that granted the business power of attorney to your organisation.
